Another fact in china you dont have protest when someone disagrees with the gov policy... we started building Narma dam long before work on 3 gorges dam started.. but because of Narmada bachao andolan we still await it's complition.
When china set up SEZ they did get protest in form of singur.

hey i am not sure if i know why there is an andolan against the dam..why are some against why do you think they are becoming a road block..why is it??

well 2 things.. one people dont see the bigger picture and more important corruption, where in the compensation for displacement dosent reach the displaced.
