hey sikular what ever u said is correct but u know we need commies...you yourself excel in many fields where u have a stiff opposition/competetion..most humans get the best out of themselves when they are pitted against good opposition/opponents...so the goverment of a rising and vibrant country like india would be as good as its oposition.. now who is in the opposition...it was congi then bjp and its going to be between them...why commies...Now tell me wats the difference between congi and bjp..wats their idealogy..its just that the heads of govt change it was Atal now its manmohan.. wats the differencce in their approach to foreign investment its the same..now who started sethusamudram -bjp now who is against it the same bjp when ... im not against bjp...they gave us an alternative after 50 yrs? but wat good is it...they just oppose each other beacause they have to oppose..well now this is why i believe there has to be some one who has views different from both..u and me might be aware of nuclear deal..but for how many can u vouch that they new abt the nuclear deal..brainy guys like u have debated here in rediff..why..beacuse it was brought to the notice..every one having a say...evey one entitled to have their own opinions..thats wat democracy is all about...there has to be views there has to be debates and counter debates for the same....and let every indian know what is happening...i belive had no commies been there...u and me wont have had the chance to debate abt many

democracy in hands of millions of ignorant, uneducated guys is like handing electronic goods to apes. And don't accuse me as being a commie for taking this stand. I could as well be a Islamist or a Sanghi depending on where your mind is dancing with all the nonsense. USA did not give voting rights to even all whites(blacks got it later) until more than 80% of them were educated in late 19th century.

China adopted free market in 1978 and India adopted in 1991. After that time India has also progressed a lot. Indian middle class has become richer and absolute poverty is 25% compared to 45% in 1991.
