It is a prestigeous award, even MGR,NTR,V.P.Singh etc didn't get this. Why small type politicians,actors,social workers desiring it. It should be given to those who have immense capabilities and served our country well rather than others.

MGR was awarded the Bharat ratna in 1988. Please get facts right before posting them as messages.
By your own logic now Do VAjpayee/Jyoti Basu deserve it, when MGR has?
