If Jyoti Basu get Bharat Ratna because of Left pressure than immediately DMK will demad the same for Karunanidhi. In that case AIDMK will not remain 'shant'. All other parties will make similar hue and cry. And most interestingly, Mayawati herself will shout that she too want it before anybody else.

yes. mayawati wud raise the issue of injustice to dalit beti n ask a bharat ratna for herself.
