Proposed petrol hike : CPM warns centre

Again the fuss! Trying to woo the common man's support. Mr. Karat, if your intention is clean, then give an ultimatum to the government on the issue to check the petrol price hike. Otherwise we will think again you are an opportunistic lot.

CPM is known as double speak.Finance minister is wrong here.crud was 50$ and now near to 100$.custom duty on credoil is same.actualy fm want more & more duty and trying to hike price.it is bad for indian ppl.

quite right. if duty was zero, petrol would be Rs 22 per litre at $ 100 per gallon. FM should look at cutting duty rather than dump it on us.

government runs on duties and taxes.. if hey wont charge u ax then it is impossible for them to pay the salaries as well..
