By keeping the reservation , government ensures that it divides the minds of upper and lower cast . It ensures that upper caste dont forget that they are upper and backward caste dont forget that they are backward . This will really help India to divide so that politician can divide and rule . I suggest you shun Hinduism because Indians are intrinsically seeding Racism aka Casteism in your society using their Family Names.
