i am just posting a possible scenario that will be happen in SL
1. Sri Lanka asks india for Defence equipments for its fight against LTTE. Indian govenment under the pressure from Tamil Parties declines thier request. 2. SL asks pakistan and China for support. Pakistan immediately sending Equipments and exp4ericeed pilots and manpower to Sri lnaks and china assists them with monetarily.
3. Indian hegemoney over sri lanka to to be over. ANd SL AF plains piloted by Pakistan pilots bombs hindu shrines that are in JAfna areas. The Indian government again under pressure from Hindu organisstation for the end of attack on hindus in SL.
4. Under the pressure, india give green signal to RAW to support LTTE and other groups. And finally indian army operate covertly against pakistani pilots.
5. After getting losses in SL, ISI starts terrorist attack on indian cities. And do a kargil type in JK. India strongly acts against that and army moves in to those areas.

Sorry, if u don't know: "Indian hegemoney over sri lanka" never existed.
It is fortunate that India keeps away from the crazy world of Sri Lanka.
India is never going to interfere in Lankan affairs. Hindu organisations are not interested in Hindu shrines in Jaffna. Only guy who is interested is Karunanidhi who says that Ram didn't exist.
