Mr Vajpayee caried a dignified political carrier with honour both within and out side the house. He served the country believing in his ideology and carried with convivtion as a Leader in the opposition and as Prime Minister.He is an articulate man with wisdom in diversity.Being a member of the Jansangh and later BJP he is not as polaristic HINDUTWA badi as Mr Advani or some of his companions are.He did express his disgust on Mr Modi's doing in his own way but should have been more vocal.He is a politician of older mode unlike Mr Advani,Modi,Mayabati and so on.In Congress itself there are only few who could stand on political milage close to Mr Vajpayee.He is a poet and never abusive.He will perhaps be the last member of old political ethos.He deserves Bharat Ratna on merit and not on any parties pleading.If Kargil war could be a factor then in 1971 Field Marshal FMS Manicshaw should be the first one.Mrs Indira Gandhi got Bharat Ratna for withstanding the force of US backed Pakistan in their act of genoside in East Pakistan now Bangladesh.She was the first to test N-detonation in POKRA and not Mr Vajpayee.All in all Mr Vajpayee do deserve Bharat Ratna in life rather been posthomusly.

Mr Madhusudan, Any un bias with a little bit of GRAY MATTER will accept that Mr Vajpayee did contribute plenty for the political life of our country confining within his conviction and ideology Swami Vivekananda was a great crusedor for the HINDUISM under the belt of clear mind with his own conviction and ideology.Can you call him parocial.My reasoning is simple for simple people who understand INDIAN Ethos where any person who contributes at and above a level of normal capacity need be rewarded.A man who has given more than fifty years of his life on any subject for the welbeing of the people of the country deserve rightful place.You may differ. I strongly feel that Mr Vajpayee deserve Bharat Ratna.
