While there cannot be any two opinion about Atalji's credentials for being bestowed the highest civilian honour of the country, to which he eminently suits, let us not play politics. If the nation feels like honouring him, a veteran parliamentarian, it should be above party politics and narrow mindedness. Otherwise it will turn out to be an insult to a gret son of India.
