UPA Government is considering implementing the recommendation of Second State Reorganization Commission.
The Government seriously thinking on creating new states like Purvanchal, Awadh, Vidharbha, Ielengana, Goorkhaland, etc.
I am suggesting the creation of following states:
1. Delhi / Indraprastham (excluding New Delhi Municipal Corporation from present National Capital Territory. New Delhi can be a seperate NCT)
2. Pondicherry (Pondicherry district in Pondicherry UT plus some villages in Villupuram and Cuddallore districts of Tamil Nadu. Karaikal, Mahe, and Yanam can be declared as seperate UTs)
3. Andaman & Nicobar Islands
4. Vidharbha (from Maharashtra with Nagpur as capital)
5. Telengana (from Andhra Pradesh with Hyderabad as capital. Vishakapatanam can be the new capital of Andhra state)
6. Central Travancore (from Kerala with Alapuzha or Kottayam as capital)
7. Kashmir (from Jammu & Kashmir with Srinagar as capital)
8. Dogra Pradesh / Jammu (from Jammu & Kashmir with Jammu as capital)
9. Ladakh (from Jammu & Kashmir with Leh as capital)
10. Bodoland (from Assam with Kokrajhar as capital)
11. Goorkhaland (from West Bengal with Dargeeling as capital)
12. Kamtapur (from northern parts of West Bengal with Siliguri as capital)
13. Bundelkhand (from parts of southern UP and northern MP with Jhansi as capital)
14. Purvanchal (from Eastern UP with Varanasi as capital)

Why only 16....
Split Tamilnadu into 3 North Tamilnadu for Stalin. South Tamilnadu for Azhagiri. West Tamilnadu for Kanimozhi.
Split Karnataka into 2, one for Kumarasamy and another for Revanna.
Split West Bengal into 2. South-West Bengal and North-West Bengal. South-West Bengal borders Bangladesh and it is a muslim majority state. Later it can become separate country.
Split Madya pradesh as 4 states. South-Madya pradesh, North Madya pradesh, West Madya pradesh and East Madya pradesh.

Every state creation leads to.. resource roblems water disputes more regional parties with no real development agenda wastage of central funds costly elections affair money to run government more leaders..more corruption eventually state bankruptancy
Every now and then cheap polititians like KCR,Pawar,Mayawati comes up with bifurcation of states to cover up their failures and state that being united is the root cause of apathy.Central govt. really need to focus and set an agenda for every state to improve the situation in backward districts or regions .automatically the sentiment towards seperation would die down if people start seeing difference.
