Mumbai has only 18% Marathis, rest of of them are from UP, Bihar, Orissa and Gujrath, costal Karnataka.
Gujjus : Rich businessmen, Stock brokers, other business etc... Kannadigas : Hotels, Resturants, Bollywood, Dance bars and other business. Parsis : Rich business men ( Godrej, TATA's etc) UP,Bihar,MP : all kinds of things from low class work to Bollywood to underworld.
Marathis : Politicos, Govt employees and traditional land holders.

Well Said Murthy. I have many maharastrian friends.But the fact remains, majority of the kamwaali bais are maharashtrian,migrating form the villages of maharashtra. Y point fingers to North indian..Dont Udhav sees marathi manoos migrating form villages and creting filth in mumbai and doing menial jobs. Most of the beggers you see on the road of mumbai are marathi comming in from villages.......

Bombay belongs to maharashtra and it makes esnse for marathi bhais from villages to go there. It is their state. Why not develop Lucknow and allahabad and make it a metro city so that up Bhaiyas can work there. We dont see any marathis or Gujjus or Southies going to UP for work. Up nad Bihar produces corrupt politicians who were controlling this nation because of their shear number. It high time Patna developed also like a metro city like Mumbai chennai or bangalore or Hydrabad . same problem with Kerala. Keralites claim to be of very high litracy but nothing works there. All keralites are in Tamil Nadu or Mumbai or Dubai.
