only 18% of Mumbai are marathis and the rest are outsiders
Gujjus : Rich business men , stock brokers, land holding etc. Parsis : Industrailists ( TATA, Godrej etc ) & other business. Kannidigas : Hotels & Resturants ( Udupi & Shetty hotels ) , Bollywood and other business. BIMARU : everything from low class activities to Bollywood and Underworld.
Marathis : Politicians and local administrators and traditional land holding...

Marathis: Corrupt BMC official, living in chawls, wearing sport shoes on formal trousers, believing that they own Mumbai, trying to show strength in numbers but when the number is small running away like a scared mouse etc etc

Typical marathi manoos does not want to work hard but needs to have a Country liquor every night which is paid by the wife who works as house maid. They all support Shiv sena...so that when roit breaks they can loot shops
