What Uddhav probably forgot is that Bal Thackeray is also an immigrant to Bombay. Bombay, like the Konkan coast, never belonged to Maharashtra, it was a travesty of history and justice that got it included in Maharashtra.

Dumb Shrkant. Mumbai is always part of Maharashtra. Don't forget the Asthi island were part of historical state of Maharatta(Same asthi now developed in Mumbai). Pathare Prabhus are the natives of Mumbai who speak marathi. East Indian christian are the Kolis converted to Chirstianity. They speak language mixed with marathi, Portuguese and english. The Cristian of Vasai speak Marathi only. The AD of Pope is a marathi speaking christian.
