Mumbai had been having a better culture of respecting females and the safest city compared to any other city in India for Females.
But recent incidents are displaying the trend changing and no wonder in short time our beloved mumbai will be like many other cities, where females will have to reach home before even 6 pm in the evening.
The evil elements were there earlier too, but they were busy in the wilderness of dance bars etc. Now with the closure of Dance bars, these evil minded elements in the society started coming into the Family Areas for hunting
Adding on to what Aspee DESai mentioned below;
Majority of migrants to mumbai when unable to find suitable livelihood, end up in the hands of anti social elements, the underworld drug mafia or ISI agents.

who gonna tell mr. udhav...tht these northies, gujaratis are very same people because of whom mumbai is wht it is today...had they not been there ..it would hav been like any other city in maharasatra...mumbai is nt of marathis...its of indians...in every country there are cities like this...who do not belong to ny region.... ask mr. udhav...y dont he accuse the big shots like tata's , ambanis and all other crorepatis... cause they pay him money to run his party.....i dont when these politicians gonna stop abetting one indian against other. god help this politicians.

IF otsiders are so proud of their contribution to the developement of Mumbai they why the hell they don't go and make their native place like mumbai.

Amit, same time, some remedial precautions have to be taken to stop the Inflow of more people into mumbai.
It already absorbed Five times more than the population it can accomodate.
need to control this situation, else the increase in more population in mumbai will result many not getting livelihood, and end up in the hands of unwanted anti social elements
