I think so called secular parties of India are more interested in minority votes rather than their real upliftment or benefit. Coming to Junaid's comment...on Hindus destroying Buddhists....shows lack of historical knowledge or the same was commented purposefully. I am not aware of a Muslim Country which is Secular. Think of India if the Majority population was Muslims would it be a Secular Country? I bet it would not have been. Take the example of Kashmir itself there are demands for implementing Shariat law....as simple as that.

I know you would come up with that answer. But why not Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Bangladesh,Quatar, Oman,Brunei,Indonesi....and many other countries....why so much of intolerance towards other religions...after all every one is a human being...believing god in his own way....what is your reaction to Taliban demolishing the age old Buddha statues in bamiyan? is there any meaning in it? why followers of every other religion were told to keep flags atop their houses? Can you tell why mosques are built very next to the existing temples......if you visit Qutubminar ..you can cearly see a temple demolished...and finally you are able to say so many things about india...bcos india is really a wonderful country with freedom of speech....i wonder if a Hindu can utter such words in pakistan.....by this time a fatwa would have been released ....

when you say Kashmir was a Hindu and Buddhist state, it sounds like a joke. Hindus came to power in Kashmir after they destroyed Buddhists. Like in India. Islam spread in Kashmir through peaceful activities of Sufis.
And Kashmir belongs to its people, and not any religion. It is Kashmiris and not Islam and Hinduism who will have Kashmir. In any case what business is it of yours. Aren't you living your life properly in your home. Is any Kashmiri taking your land. They are asking for their own land, and a state, which they will have.

Indians just use Pandits to cry infront of the international community. What has India done for Pandits. After all Pandits belong to Kashmir. They are our brothers. And they will be treated like that. And they will come back. And that will be a slap on the face of Imperialist India.

That is what the Mujhiboor Rehman said to Bangaladeshi Hindus in 1971 and Jinnah said to Pakistani Hindus in 1947. We all know what happened. No reason why Pandits should beleive Junaid.

Kashmir has a history of peaceful coexistence among its people, who in everything but religion are the same. There have been problems of massive nature recently but they are temporary. Pandits have to believe Kashmiri Muslims, and Muslims have to believe Pandits. There is no other way. All other ways will leave them out in the cold. With INDIANs using them as pawns.

Mr. Junaidd.... I would not say that India belongs to only Hindus and such and such religion. It belongs to all the people and states it has in its fold. After a long faught independence, we had come to terms with what we had and had started to live with the social fabric provided to us. If you believed that Kashmir was seperate from India, you should have asked the British when they had ruled the country. They were masters of division.
Your saying that Kashmiri people want a seperate state is like asking a persona called India its head seperated (geographically also it looks a personification). Do you think after so many years of living together with a image in the minds, people would sit idle. It is like trying to seperate a child from her mother, a head from the person. No mother can bear a seperate of her child, and no person will think if staying alive with his head severed...
I have only one thing to say Mr. Junaid, you did not bring Kashmir with you when you came and no right to seperate it geographically from the very land you it had been part of. If you are not happy, you people are free to form a group and establish another Kashmir in some barren lands in Antarctica or Arctic circles where you are free to live like Kings.

Sunil Ji, what do you mean "when you came". I was born in Kashmir. I speak the language of Kashmir. I know its history, and its culture, and I have shared the pain and anguish of my people. And you still think "I came". I am surprised how much Kashmir matters to you. You have nothing to do with it. You don't speak its language or know its customs or rituals. Why should it matter to you.
When you were under British, didn't you want freedom? British also occupied India by trickery, that did not stop the great Mahatma to give a call for freedom. Why should Kashmiris give up. It is their country, the beautiful motherland called Kashmir. If you come their with your weapons you will be treated as enemies, but if you come with no ill will we will treat you like great friends.
The real metaphor is this:
What will you do if someone occupied you in the guise of helping you? When the Hindu Maharaja signed the treaty with India it had no moral force. It is the same as the Nizam of Hyderabad who tried to sign treaty with the Pakistan. But did you accept it at that time. Why should Kashmiris accept a treaty signed by a ruler who was not even the real son of his father?

If you are fighting for Kashmir, why do you attack the rest of India.Fight in kashmir. Moreover,if it had not been you guys India would have been much more successful. Had you not kicked ou so many Hindus, and picked up arms to fight Indians,you could have had much better affairs in KAshmir. Sorry my friend, though I accept he was bad I dont accept that only Hindus of Sikhs were murdered. Partition was very unfortunate for Muslims too. Please remember Muslims have the same blood and flesh that you have.
