JK Issue
by SikhPride on Jan 06, 2008 01:20 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

There was no problem in J&K upto 1989...Any Seperatists were always crushed by Indira Gandhi in J&K and Assam...This Problem started in 1989 during VP singh govt when Mr Mufti Syed was made Home minister..
All Hindus / Sikhs were forced out of valey but nobody bothered, even when BJP came to power nothing happened terrorism increased..they did not crush it. And now it is worse during current govt.

We need Leaders like Indira Gandhi, Advani to crush anti-nationals...BJP/Congress have same policies it is leaders which matter.

dear friends; any peace maintained by force is no great peace. Nobody was forced to leave valley. It was a conspiracy hatched by then Governor Jagmohan who thought that he will launch a blue star like operation and afterwards will recall all migrants back. Just analyse the situation and u will come to know how much kashmiri blood is flowing in the streets of Kashmir. Please dont make any hasty and harsh comments unless being on the field. I am proud to be Indian but feelings are changing as i see the way GoI is treating kashmir Issue.Hope in future u comment only on the things u know better.

@Mir: Very funny reasonings by you.It is a fact that the Pandits were driven out by the Kashmiri and Paki militants. How can you say no one was forced to leave the Valley? The army is necessary to counter terrorists.Even peace was obtained in Punjab through force. I don't know whether you have soft side for Pakistan or separatists but it shows your myopic view.

How much lie u r going with? At least remember God and the day of judgment before exhibiting lies.
No body leaves his home and hearth on somebody's direction.Jagmohan had nothing to do with the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits. KP were made targets just because they were not muslims. In 1989-90 some of you (terrorists) had an illusion and u thought KPs a hindrance between u and ur separation from India. You people used to believe the addresses by pakistan PM of that time BeNazir who was religiously instigating Kshmiri Muslims by daily shouting from the pak tv and radio and assuring u Pak support.Do u deny that the terrorism in Kashmir was and is at the pakistan's behest. You are speaking Pakistani language about Kashmiri Hindus exodus from valley, though all of u know the conditions under which they had to leave their mother land.Do u remember the day Jagmohan was sent to Kashmir as governor, the Pakistan PM of that time Be Nazir shouted hoarse and directed her terrorists cadres in Kashmir to cut him into pieces.Such was the effect, of Jagmohan's coming to Kashmir on her that the next day she delivered prematurely!
And finally how many names r u using on this board some times ChuniLal koul while some times
choudhary. Do u have these names? Have u sought permission of the concerned from ur family?

I agree with you. I recently spent time with my sister who got married there 25 years ago and the whole family never moved out.
Kashmiri Muslims are the most secular people I have met. Unfortunately, there are elements there - like everywhere else - whose best interest is in the turmoil thriving. The Abdullah family is a case in point. They rigged the election after entering into a pact with Congress - the disgruntled youth from the losing party MMM - got treated miserably by the local police in the aftermath - five of them scurried accross the border - straight into the arms of ISI - came back with guns - became populer mainly with the common people because everyone was disillusioned with the rigging of the polls. Farooq Abdullah resigned and ran off to London fearing a mob lynching, Jagmohan - the then Governor played the Communal BJP card - resulting in the mass exodous of Pandits. Salahuddin - the leader of the political party MMM - fled to Pakistan is designed training camps where young ones even 13 year olds - from poor families were trained and given AK-47s - resulting in the current mess.
Common Kashmiris know they were and are better off with India - but the leadership is either on the payroll of ISI or some other entity - hence the people can't really speak out out of fear. That my friends is the story in a nutshell.
