well done nusrat.while almost every congress opinion was in favour as you said in your post of meeting the demands of hijackers of the indian plane with 200 passengers to save the lives of hostages a teenage girl came out with a different opinion altogether unlike the then home-minister Mufti Mohammad Seyed (doordarshan news-bulletin 29-12-99.Her both parents were in the ill-fated plane when she said govt. should not release the hard core millitant in our custody in exchange for the hotages at any cost. Alas!Mufti Md (HM) had shown the courage and conviction and confidence half of the amount this unselfish patriotic girl showed knowing well that her parents wer also in the plane.
