Some channels reported two terrorists were shot dead by CRPF personnel when they returned the fire. This reports states two injured; but all terrorists escaped. But there is no official word to clarify this so far.
If the IB reports of intelligence inputs is correct, then CRPF top brass must own responsibility for not setting up tough measures to ensure this kind of incidents do not take place.
Time and again we are noticing the police forces falling like nine pins against terror groups like Naxals, Maoists, or Islamic terrorists. It only brings out the fact that our police officers are not doing enough to stay on top - be it strategically or be it professionally.
These terror groups succeed in their acts because they have (a) surprise as their weapon (b) high motivation and dedication for their cause (however unjustifiable they are) and (c) more importantly, the incompetence of the police force and apathy of the public.
We will have to be ever vigilant, and be suspicious of anything that is NOT normal. There is a drastic need to improve security infrastructure on an urgent basis.

For that Our Security Forces should be in high moral, If proved terrorists like Afgal Guru and all not hanged For the sake of muslim votebank then how could our forces moral will be high.
It is a Leadership Failure on the part of Central Govt for not keeping the moral high of our armed forces. Lets not blame CRPF for this.....

Let us not link the issues. Afzal Guru case will have to have a logical end. That is a different debate.
In this case, the CRPF officers are found wanting. It has nothing to do with motivation, or morals.
This is more an issue of professional competency than anything else. We have created a inefficient system and rigged it with corrupt officials. Merit and bravery are lacking. So, what we see is repeat shows of terrorists being able to strike at will.
