In the euphoria created by the election oriented budget sops, it is nice time to file the affidavit quietly and avoid the publicity normally that would have been generated. Just look at this discussion board. Hardly any messages are forthcoming as everyone is busy enjoying the budget sops. One only hopes that the Supreme Court considers the larger Hindu sentiments and the financial viability and environmental aspects of the project and puts a stop to it!

Who told u it is economicaly unviable or it affects ecology? Dont believe them. Those environmentallist also opposed narmada dam construction and told same excuse. But see how they were proved wrong
