The underlying issue is the unspoken racism of the Aryan north and some South Indian (who have invented an Aryan past for themselves), against the dravidian south in general. If you read the Ramayana carefully, its just a book on how the Aryan North went to war against the dravidian south. Look at the subtle racism here, an army of monkeys from the forest in the south help an aryan invader to defeat a dravidian army. The Ram/Sita story was later invented to justify to the uneducated mass- the domination of the Aryan over the south and the war. Come on it the 21st century, the mass is educated now. We are hindus, but some stories that is associated with the Hindus in the North has to be re-looked at.

I heard there was a lizard named Periyar, decendent of Ravana, who did all nonsense in TN for sometimes and inherited a race of DMK(the modern Ravan army) who has a leader, arrested at midnight, showed his under garment to the world?

Yes, we became educated and started asking question about who was Ram?, who was Ravana? Looking underneath the layers of this myth - why did the aryans look down on the south (guys you called Ravana descent). Is it because of the lack of qualities in the people of the south or is it because of mere jealousy and racism. Look at some Northern states and compare with some southern states, the descendent of Ravana as you called us- is doing quite well.

Yes, the truth. About the BS- the aryan masters been feeding the ordinary hindus for 3000 years. A bunch of monkeys build a bridge. Why can't UP/Biharis employ some monkeys to build infrastructure in their respective states. Yes, the excavation is also going to discover Atlantis.

Its easy to put all this down to aryan crap theory. The south is not the main market for fair and lovely in India. The fact is that the story of Ramayan is a story of the war of people from the North of India, against the southern states. This has to this date created a sort of racism which has not fully been explore in India. Of course everybody came from africa, but that does not make everybody on earth today eligible for an african passport (any one of the african countries). The truth is that there is regional cultures and regional languages in India. Stopping one state from achieving a dream, because of some story- which may well be more than a story in the Northern part of India is not a good approach. This is going to cause a rift between states and hindus.
