Hinduism is just mere culture - Nothing more.
by karunanidhi on Feb 28, 2008 04:37 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Hinduism ( First of all Hindu or Hinduism there is no Religion because there was no word called Hindu ) The Arabs/Persians called us Hindi ( because the dravadians are black ) Secondly the Arabs/Persians are called this land as Baharat ( Baharat means spices, this land for spices ) Hinduism a culture, mixed with Dravadians/Arayans/Muslims/christians/Budh/Jains/Sikhs and others. It is mixed culture. The Dharamshastar followers the Arayans Hijack and amended their books to control the locals. Let me know which is the first book available and how old it is and when it is written. The whole things are fabricated/deleted/amended according to need. So keep quite, there is no such issue let them carry-out the project it is good for whole country for Indians.

Mr.Karunanidhi,

I may agree with deletions / amendments / whatever u call the Aryans did. Your words says that other than Dravidians everybody has did some or other amendments /deletion etc; to their culture. I agree with you but not with the project to carry on.

Forget Rama/sita/Ravana/Mahabharahta/Quran/bible or anyother religious books which i may not know; this project is worse for the environment as we are going to demolish the naturally built sethu
and dump the sand in so many places which inturn will be utilised for the constructions and make things more messier.

As per the climatists / environmentalists (world wide) they believe this sethu is restricting so many calamities (Water overflow, tsunami etc;) with which it is doing good for countries.

As for the Indian Govt. savings goes..it is hardly peanuts, they can eat enough money for all the other projects which goes in India but they say they wan't save money.

Pls don't get through the into politics of others and make this beautiful earth & us suffer. Already we are screwing the environment a lot and we can't do more. Let's give a better world to our future generation.

yep, as rightly said if u dont bother much about Hinduism have some regards for the ecology around you... a natural calamity is the biggest calamity of all... respect nature..

jus forget about whether its built by Ram or Adam.... a natural formation is meant to be kept and not to be demolished... remember there exists a coral patch underneath....

Do not spread what ever you can, try to read history first and then comment.

Read this first if you are a true Indian

The very fountain-head of our religion is in the Vedas (Srutis) which are perfectly impersonal; the persons all come in the Smritis and Puranas- the great Avataras, Incarnations of God, Prophets, and so forth.
[Note: Srutis means revealed knowledge; Smriti means memory, history]

And this ought also to be observed that except our religion (Sanatan Dharma; Hinduism), every other religion in the world depends upon the lives of some personal founder or founders. Christianity is built upon the life of Jesus Christ, Mohammedanism (Islam) upon Mohammed, Buddhism upon Buddha, Jainism upon the Jinas, and so on. It naturally follows that there must be in all these religions a good deal of fight about what they call the historical evidences of these great personalities.

If at any time the historical evidences about the existence of these personages in ancient times become weak, the whole building of the religion tumbles down and is broken to pieces. We escaped this fate because our religion is not based upon persons but on principles. That you obey your religion is not because it came through the authority of a sage, no, not even of an Incarnation. Krishna is not the authority of the Vedas, but the Vedas are the authority of Krishna himself. His glory is that he

You son of "B" "karunanidhi", people like you will even sell your women for money, so one can expect only such words from you. Go to Rome and lick Pop's feet he will give you more money, we are not going to believe your wicked story to divide Hindus in the name of Aryan and Dravidian, with the blessing of our great leader late Shri.Muthuramalinga Thevar Ayya who said "Hinduism and Nationalism are my two eyes" we will defeat the traitors like you....
