Maharashtra is wrongly defined
by You yourself on Feb 28, 2008 08:48 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

There are areas of Maharashtra including Mumbai which do not have Marathi majority, and Marathis have never contributed very much to those areas. Instead of creating a separate state for Mumbai, it was included in Maharashtra which is a grave wrong to non-Marathis in Mumbai. The same could be said for Chennai, but Delhi got lucky. Maharashtra has border disputes with almost every state around it because of their mentality.
