You know what will be the salary of the scientists in that project, nearly one tenth of IIM graduate salary. Just slogan raising will not do. To attract more people to R & D in defence attractive salary must be paid. Mr P.M. please look into this matter.

guys, don't talk abt the salary. If u compare the other perks of the scisnetist, it goes beyond the IIM grads. They stay in the plush gov bunglow, get chauffer driven car(their family also use this car-Mind it i am not complainig), get servant, all comes free on top of that a very habdsome salary. If u add the value of all these, then i think it will cross the salary of IIM grad or IT techie(who always get compared).

You are wrong , this only for the top scientists like directors, chief scientist so on. Of course all of them are eligible for housing quarters which is not plush .See IISC bangalore. They are quite adequate.Please do not go by seeing one or two scientists. I know of some professors who still travel by bus , forget cars

You r spot on ...completely agree with you. We need to pay good salaries to defence scientist espcially from DRDO and other labs for there stupendous performance. Well done guys !!!!!!! Keep It Up !!!! We are Proud of You.
