Dasari is nto a Dalit Leader. He plays lot of cast politics in Andhra. He belongs to one of the forward cast in Andhra. (Same caste as Chiranjeevi). he tried to pull chiranjeevi into these caste based politics since they are same caste. It is good that Chiranjeevi did not go along with him for the new party.
About the kidnap, it is sure that people who donot want their relation to continue have done. He made several Pro-Naxalite movies. Though he entertained lot of corruption in his position, when it comes to movies he makes pro dalit, pro naxalite, pro lover etc etc.. He did not like his son marraige to a low caste gal, but in movies he always gives bloody MESSAGE.
Forget about politics, I hope and pray to God that they live together happiliy.

He is not a Dalit, but he belongs to so called "backward" caste. (Ofcourse, majority of that caste are middle class or above, but for NTR's, VP Singh's & Arjun Singh's, they are still backward)

Its not that way, the people from his caste demanded that they need a BC status. Thats the reason that caste sometimes will be FC sometimes BC
