Dr.Mallya, Mr. Dhoot & Mr. P C Alexander
by Manali Thomas on Feb 26, 2008 11:40 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

These gentlemen has made their own impression in their field and there is nothing wrong for Shiv Sena and NCP to support them. Shri Thackeray is wise enough to lend them his support. Unlike congress, who felt Shri Alexander is not fit for President, his interaction with Mumbaikars were commendable. He left a long lasting impression which lasts even if he left this metro before 5 years. Dr. Mallya has done commendable contribution to the business and is success in which ever business field he puts his money in, aviation, cricket and liquor. Mr. Dhoot have made Videocon a household name to reckon with in the business industry. When people of such outstanding calibre and achievements are in the field, there should not be any opposition to their selection and election. Except 3-4 increase in the prices, what is Shri Deora's contribution to the ministry he is heading. Let the best man get elected to the upperhouse. Atleast we are sure that there are intellectuals, businessmen and not dumb dolls like cine stars, wives of politicians whose validity has expired. The house is supposed to be advisory group of Lower house, where as now with such morons occupying the seats, it has become a matter of concern to the common people. Wish these three ar elected unopposed.

Mr. Ralph, people like you speak from both sides. You have problem if Shivsena talks ONLY about Marathi people and you have problem if Shivsena gives RS ticket to Non Marathi.

Matter of fact is, EVERY single political party in India is like Shivsena and there is absolutely no difference. Only difference is that Shivsena is not liked by English media and hence they make lot of noise about them. But at the end of the day, everyone is same.
