I sometimes feel sorry for Biharis. It is Bihari politicians who indulge in Gundagiri, but Biharis get a bad name for that. One of my friends told me that in Delhi Railway Stations, the Railway police treat Bihari workers like scum. Delhi CM Sheila Dixit has made comments against Biharis. And now in Maharashtra, it is the turn of Raj Thackeray and his gang. But let us not forget that the old undivided Bihar was a source of natural resources like coal for the rest of India. UP and Bihar also produce lot of food for the rest of the country. I am from AP and AP mostly produces rice, so we get wheat from North Indian states. I really love the chapatis made from wheat produced in UP. Also, I am an atheist, but culturally speaking, UP has contributed a lot to the Hindu culture of India. Unfortunately, UP and Bihar are less developed because of politicians and over-population. As Indians, we should take this opportunity to seriously demand from our politicians that they develop these two states. I hope my fellow Telugu people in Hyderabad will never resort to the same tactics that are being used by Raj Thackeray. I want to remind Marathi people that successive Indian governments have concentrated a lot on developing Mumbai at the expense of places like UP and Bihar. So my dear fellow Marathis, you are Indians first and Marathis next. Don't be so harsh with your brothers and sisters from UP and Bihar.
