Silly season
by Gus Wish on Feb 23, 2008 09:35 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

We have got a problem of hijacking one problem and then giving vent to our frustrations. I am not muslim but think it's very unfair to criticize any prophets. Human beings can be faulted, so as such conduct of Muslim may be questioned. After how many of us read books of Islam before citicising it. Even muslims don't understand their books too well. There has never been a culture in Muslim world to try to publicly and interpret sayings.Further there is no central authority. so everyone has a field day. probably to defy the radicals outsider must rad carefully to negate.the translation thing never give good picture because you need to be in that zone of believing to absorb words and we don't have time for that. probaby moderate muslims should do that. we just come to blabber our opinions. its a coincidence that article topic is connected.
cheers!

I completely agree with you that one should read the islamic texts before commenting on Islam or Muhammed.
