Muslims in Tamil are peaceful and more educated than in other states. They are more part of the Mainstream which they lack in other states. The only problem causes in TN was the Coimbatore serial blast, which was caused by Al-Umma a Kerala based fundamentalist group.

it is also said that in koran there is an instruction to muslims that in the event of religion/boundaries coming head to head then a muslim should choose religion and not bondaries. ie a muslim in india should support a muslim from anywhere in the world and not his motherland
