If this kind of model succeeds, dont yall think it will be replicated in rest of the state. Maybe pune, ratnagiri, vasai (in mumbai), Pimpri, etc will first see migrants driven out and then replaced by locals.
Ideally I believe that the jobs in factories, govt, railways should first go to locals and then to others. But in places like software, banking, investments, consultancies, you cant replicate the model. There they do need merit.
It is all very easy to state that any Indian can travel anywhere and blah blah blah. But ground realities (meaning we are divided linguistically) demand innovative and workable solutions. I believe that locals have all the right to protest if the local jobs are taken over by outsiders.

don't underestimate the work done by these so called workers in factories. There is a lot of skill required in it. I don't think it is easy to replicate in any industry and has to be developed over a period of time.

I accept the fact that locals shud be given preference .... but where were the so called locals when the bhaiyya's arrived ???? what were the locals doing ??? celebrating gatari ???
Go and ask the employers why they would prefer the bhaiyya's .... First of all no Union problems ....the moment dharti putra starts working ...the first thing he will do is try to organise a union ...
these bhaiyya's work for 15 hours a day without complaining ...an ideal worker for an employer ..

Bhaiyyas work 15 hrs a day..does'nt look human..It's like..people in US work only for 8 hrs...replace them with Indians who are ready to work 15 hrs with 50% salary.....
