Evolution of Secularism
by Tathagata Mukherjee on Feb 25, 2008 01:35 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Gandhi never used Secularism in his 100 plus volumes of work. "Secularism" was inserted into Indian constitution during dark days of emergency along with socialism.

India was partitioned based on religious lines. Congress blatantly surrendered to Muslim League.

After partition, the thrust was on religious tolerance.

Slowly it became Muslim rights.

And now, Muslim reservation as well as anti-Hindu postures.

Secularism has been distorted much from the days after partition till today.

Hey Tatha,

You dont have any right to quote what Gandhi said.

The reason is that, you have abused his name on this board and CBI has noted down and you will be arrested as soon as you reach Delhi.

You are little brate with Pseudo Hindu radical mentality will support and praise to people like Nathuram Godse!

You are trying to instigate Hindu Jihad.

EVerybody laughing at Gandhi-prem by Muslims.
Muslims support for Gandhi is farce- why they divided India if they followed Gandhi? Huh?

What you expect, Hindus will follow disastrous policy of Muslim appeasement as done by Gandhi in future too?

People said enough is enough. And no more pampering of Muslims. Period.
