Human society was divided on lines of caste, creed, color and tribes, and consequently was plunged into the valley of conflicts and tribulations. Caste based on birth was propounded by vested interests, guided by the principle of selfish pleasure and geo-socio-economic sentiments with the sole motives to perpetuate economic exploitation over the ignorant mass. Same is the case with racial sentiments. The "purity" and vanity of racial superiority associated with religious dogmas is a glaring case of vested interest psychology.
It is irrational, illogical, conservative and dogmatic to divide humanity on the bases of external differences. This sort of psychology is the product of evil forces. How to get rid of this sort of mentality and establish a universal social order? If right thinking people and well-wishers of the society wanted to form a peaceful world order, the following factors should be integrated:
(1) universal social outlook based on Neo-Humanism
(2) availability and guarantee of minimum requirements of life
(3) common penal code based on cardinal principles of life
(4) a progressive and rational socio-economic theory
(5) social codes of conduct for justice, discipline and social solidarity
(6) logical and scientific views of life and world free from dogmas and superstitions
(7) a spiritual-moralist leadership free from geo or class sentiments

JGN, self interest or societal interest cannot be decided by us...
however, to be progressive and to be peaceful, there has to be some sort of integrated effort from the society...

Dear Seshadri, basically every human-being is selfish. Every thought and action of an individual is aimed at deriving some benefits for him (either material gain or mental pleasure). This is a universal principle of Psychology.

Hi JGN, I do agree with that, but only to a certain extent.
Vedic dharma had held societal interests over the interests of a family and a family's interests over that of an individual!
So, the universal appeal should be restricted only to "Selfishness". The rest is subject to a combination of factors...

There are again subject to change according to time and space. Our ancestors were taught to protect the "King" at the cost of their life. Will you or me do that for saving the PM or President of India? There are paid commandos for doing that!!

Mr.Mukherjee, we would have the same narrow agenda if we also start lamenting like the muslims that "Islam is in danger" ever since the inception of their religion.
If nearly 700 years of Muslim rule or nearly 200 years of European Christian rule could not make our Country a Muslim or Christian country, that is just not possible in 21st century.
All the Arabian Muslim countreis with their filty oil wealth cannot control a small country with a population of just 15 million!!!!!!!! The muslims are only day dreaming about controlling more than 850 million hindus in India!!!!
