We know Hindi has maximum reach in India..No doubt about that.. If you ever want to rise above your state and mingle with people of other states do something for your country..You need to connect to maximum number of people and thats why you should learn Hindi.
One of the reason why there are no prime ministers from Tamil Nadu is that They are so obsessed with Hindi bashing to retain power their state that 50% of India feels offended with them.

our language is more important to us than Power. If we go out of our state, we will learn the language of the native people.
So, when u come to my state and understand my people, they try to do it by learning Tamil...it is not our duty to understand the people who come to my land for surivival

Who is migrating to other states and hence who should "rise above your state and mingle with people of other states" ???? No body is inviting them to their states ,as tamils/marathi's or any other speak hindi in UP , so the same is expected then the bhaiyya's move to other states.

No amount of arguments will do good bhai. Been there. Let them live in those interesting times that their politicians will make for them by whipping the fear sentiments in them.
