Only gulburga and belgaum names have changes... rest even earlier we(kannadigas) used to pronounce the same way ... kaunsa badi baat hain vicky nanjappa ismain...

Thats right infact to tell more i once went to Hosur on TN side much before bangalore name change and they pronounced Bengalur and not BANG-A-LORE who coined this western word anyway?
