Dear Venkat, Your very idea of Christ is wrong! So everything that you want to know more about Christ & Christians will obviously be not correct. You words "We are told that.....", but you have also heard that Christian preachers have preached that Jesus is alive even today, have you even once thought anything about that?. If you have started thinking about it, then you need to disprove the Christian preachers that Jesus is dead! Simple, Call Jesus & test whether he is really alive or not! And to call Jesus, You: - you neednt go to a church. - You neednt read a bible. - you neednt have any christians friend/relatives/neighbours. - you neednt even read anything about christians - you neednt have any good/bad thought about christians. - You neednt even close your eyes. - You neednt kneel down.
All you have to do is: - Just ignore what someone else(yes, even a christian) knows about Jesus. - Accept the challenge to disprove Christian claims like 'Jesus is alive'.
I challenge you, you will be answered the very day YOU SPEAK TO JESUS.

the best remedy for conversion problems is to convert all the dalits, sc st to brahmins. thats it. no more conversions after that.

Get rid of all religious dogmas. Btw Brahmanism in ancient India was a honourable way of begging. The brahmins were never rich. It was the uppercastes and intermediate castes who exploited the poor (don't jump at me telling that I am a brahmin liar, etc - I am not a brahmin)
