India is democracy.... and NOT 'meritocracy' like Singapore.
Hence it is imperative to maintain cultural aka caste diversity in all temples in India.
Government of India should implement 'reservations' in all Indian temples as per the 'caste' census in India.

1. 52% of all temple staff including Pujaris should be from OBC communities. 2. 29% temple staff including Pujaris should be from Dalits and Tribals. 3. Remaining all temple staff including Pujaris should be from other castes.
Also render PUJAS in regional or local language instead of Sanskrit.

and wat about mosques?? can u tell any mullah in TN not to insribe in urdu and to pray in tamil. . its easiest to criticise the brahmins. / u dont have the guts to tell the same to a mullah as u wont return home. . there is nothin called as dalit in hinduism, so why reserve them? . can u ask this to a thevar in madurai.. will a thevar marry his son to a "so called dalit" because 50%population is bc,Sc,ST and OBC? .

good argument. But "national" madaraasi u cannot escape by pointing at Muslims. Lets agree that (educated)MUSLIMS(not the poor uneducated innocent muslims living in villages they are part of tamil culture. they donno urdu..etc etc) dont feel any attachment to the place they live in INCLUDING TN or TE(tamil eelam). Their heart and brain are in SAUDI ARABIA. But u cannot say that temple pujaris SHUDNT be from non-brahmin community. or SANSKRIT shud be the ONLY GOD-language.Actually "nationalism" is supported by many tambrams to counter tamil nationalism. I have many friends who are supportive of tamil cause and still be good brahmins....y dont u think abt this more... I hope by "national" u mean to say some1 who has 1.LEARNT NATIONAL LANGUAGE HINDI,2.Follows orthodox HINDUISM.3. Supports North INDIANS in ALL cause.4. Watches HINDI MOVIES regularly.5. Supports INDIAN ARMY (even in atrocites like in TAMIL EELAM)....well...I am not doing anything of these and still consider myself a good indian...comeon where in the world u have such tolerant and open faith as hinduism?.where in thw world do we have two classical languages..?. Just to oppose DRAVIDIAN parties please dont take anti-tamil stand (i dont see any indication of that in u but just am afraid of the word national!!)

well yaaro.. . ur definition of nationalism is different frm mine. my father was a very senior officer in the iadian army. . i know around 6 languages including tamil.i am not orthodox, i support indians and not north indians alone.i watch decent movies in all languages which are rather less in tamil now.. . wat proof u have in claiming the attrocities of indian army in SL? . i am not at all anti tamilian in nature. tamil is a great language. i oppose those who have taken a patent of tamil language like karuna. . ya tamil should be a part of temple culture and the preist too can be from any caste if he is devoted to god. i believe in this theory. There needs to be a debate on this . i am a brahmin and say that all brahmins are not good. There is no difference between indian and tamil nationalism. . both are the same. if u are referring to caste system and the brahminical presence in temples, its due to the bhakti only. . ya we need to abolish the caste system. it should not be only for brahmins..u as atamilian have u ever opposed the thevar's attrocities on SC and ST? . PMK is a vanniar party.. have u ever opposed that. just because i am a brahmin and support the national cause, it does not mean i am anti tamil. . if opposin india is tamil cause, then i prefer to be an anti tamil nationalist
