This is a side effect that Islam and Christianity brought to India. World's first recorded high profile gay couple were: Alauddin Khilji and his slave.
This is shameful culture that Islam has given to India as unwanted gift. Christianity approves this too, though does not call that as marriage.

Just to nit-pick...how can Ala-ud-din Khilji be gay, when we all know the story involving him and Padmini, queen of Chittor! Get your facts right. I agree that homosexuality defeats the purpose of sex, viz. procreation, but this has nothing to do with Islam or Christianity or any other religion - sculptures on old Hindu temples attest to the fact that it was practised in India before the advent of any other 'foreign' influence. So, please don't spread communal hatred.

exactly... therefore anal and oral sex are ban in many cultures. So then all these prudes who are bashing about homosexuality should also refrain from oral and anal sex
