There is no need to impose Hindi on non Hindi speakers as the national language.
Why do we need a national language in a democratic multi linguistic country?
If we need a national language then make English as the national language.
All languages like Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu are being sidelined and Hindi is being promoted. Soon our children will forget their mother tongues and will know only English and Hindi.
All non Hindi speakers should take a stand against Hindi and save their languages from extinction.
Bhayyas have made Hindi the national language after breeding like rabbits.
At this rate Mahrashtra will be without Marathi, Punjab will be without Punjabi, Bengal will be with out Bengali...
We need to take a stand now before it is too late.

Terminator, the lesser said about your views, the better. I would even accept your contention of not having a national language - but making english instead of hindi, FOR THE REASONS YOU QUOTED is ridiculous - so you are saying that you can accept a language from another country, but not our state.
second: Who forces you to speak in hindi in Maharashtra - you sound like suffering from conspiracy phobia. Hindi speaking people also complain about the same about english actually. Also, who has EVER objected to the regional languages being promoted? Thakereys have ruled the state for so long practically, so i think being good Maharashtrians, they must have promoted Marathis, and so holds for West Bengal. What are you complaining about exactly? OH< and biggest of them- STOP watching hindi movies altogether. That is how you can boycott hindi.
third: if you are so against nationalistic symbols, go ahead and demand to have a regional flag instead of the national flag. why stop at that, demand that Maharashtra be treated as a separate country.
