Hi I am a Mahrashtrian and I am ashamed by the course things have taken in the recent past. However I think majority of the maharashtrians do not feel this way, irrespective of their status in the society. In fact I was had a discussion about this with a Marathi autodriver and he said he and others like him are of the opinion that if some people want to play politics (read dirty politics)then they should do so in elections and against other parties , why drag poor people into this and deny them their daily bread and butter. Friends, this is nothing but age old practice of this and some other parties to "make their presence felt". People "employed" to take part in such violent activities are unemployed youth who would do anything for one day of free food or money. They do not understand the value of hard earned money since they havent ever "worked" for it. Hence they do not give a thought to that middle class individual's sacrifices and dreams before smashing his car. This is not new and yet we fall prey to these antics is what surprises the sane part of me.
As soon people of India (maharashtrians and others)realizes that this is just a political stunt, the better it is for all of us. 2 majorly unknown ministers, (Abu and Raj), created a controversy, even after promising they wont take bail, gets out of court in 2 hours, and they both are heroes in their respective areas. Isnt this too easy? And in the process if some innocents get beaten, looted, killed, well.... who cares about them. The leaders got what they wanted, and its all that matters to them

deepa the problem is he is igniting the lesser educated , unemployed youths who feel their life will imporve automatically once they ve sided with raj. they will still remain poor even after this fiasco only raj will add some more crores to the existing wealth of 5oo crores. rajs mother in law is worried about amits exam but she has no concerns for the thousands of poor innocent people and their families. nothing will happen to raj but ultimately he has to answer that why his hands r soiled with blood of fellow indians in the biggest court of GOD.

Its truly a great to hear a maharastrian saying that....if actually you all think Raj was wrong then the next elections should be his last elections and that will send a message to all politicains that people are not a party to such cheap things and dont want their already diffcult life to make more difficult by all this crap.
