No educated UPite ever goes to Bombay as there are plenty of jobs in IT and BPO in NOIDA/Greater NOIDA. Cheaper houses , broader roads, bigger grander Malls , transport... all these idiots who think that Bombay is attracting people must go to NOIDA/Gaziabad etc to see what real progress and planned development is. In fact NOIDA attracts more migrant workers from Bihar than Bombay does. The people who are currently there are people who shifted 5- 10 years back.

they come because some Maharastrian industrialist pays them good salary and invites them to work. Ask the owners of factories in Nasik who's factories have been shut down and owners getting blackmailed into paying huge wages. The same industrialists will set up shop elsewhere if wages are lesser. UP anyway has better electricity situation than Maharashtra and no labour unrest. I have worked there in UP interiors and know it is pretty good.

shilpa. move out of mumbai and see the world... a frog in a well thinks its the world. look at delhi... its got far more illiterate and low end biharis than Mumbai anytime.. in fact several times over. Difference is.. in Delhi the locals are rich and own the lands, run the businesses and get work out of the biharis'. whereas here it looks like the locals have all sold their lands long back.. ..and are now competing with the low end bihari's for low end work!!!. get mature madam... being locals you had all the opportunities of owning lands, businesses and flourishing as the delhi'tes.. but something seriously went wrong

Nothing went wrong - you are comparing an island with nowhere to grow with a city that can spread horizontally. The island is choking - but keep up with the delusion of the Bombay with dirt poor Maharashtrians.
BTW do you know the single biggest factor that makes developed countries defined as developed? It is not the fabulously rich - it is a vast middle class.
Maharashtra has the middle class - and if they are honest here even people of the great state of Gujarat will admit that one of the issues of their state was the lack of middle class. They have solved that, but still not quite up with Maharashtra yet.

Beleri why are you so insecure. If you have moved around in the world and if you are a frog in the sea, or in the ocean, swim and go else where why do you want to think local and limit yourself. Go to Delhi, or else where. People here will be happy to see you go.

can u make a law that restrict internal migration? if yes then send these guys back to thier states. If NO then u cant drive them out. moreover making a law th8 bars internal migration will break the country on parochil lines which is utmost non constitutional. dont forget Marathis r also (migrants) if they liv in baroda, indore etc.how i wish they get kicked off like this but other states r not cheapskates. no body has fallen tho this level of misbehaviour.

you are an idiot immagina if you have been kicked out good scum like you should be drowned in the sea. And idiot, Gujarat, MP, etc were all ruled by Maharashtrians and that is why Marathi people are still found there. Two people from UP and Bihar have been coming to Mumbai for six decades now, and it is now when the burden is becoming too much for the city and the state to handle have the people reacted in this way. Maharashtrians in any other state do not number 60 lakhs. So stop making stupid statements.

after making this desperate comment, technically , u still cant drive out internal migrant (its not in the constitution). go and get it altered in constitution and then drive the internal migrants out.Marathis like u will soon become terrorists for possessing this "marathi manoos " feeling. God plz save us from this ailing species of marathi manoos.
