"North indian are trying to make maharashra into Hindi Speaking State"... This is not true. Hindi is spreading only because of Bollywood movies and Hindi TV channels.

Why don't you guys, ban production and showing of Hindi movies in Mumbai? Kolkata will be happy to welcome the Bollywood folks.

How much money is Mumbai getting out of the Hindi movies? All the money flows from whole of INDIA and not only from Maharastra.

Do you know that ancestors of our national hero Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj also came from outside Maharashtra? He mentions himself in one letter that "I am a Rajput".

Do you know that after the debacle of Maratha federation by East India Company, where did the Leader of All Maratha forces was forced to take shelter? UP will always be proud that Nana Saheb took seat in Bithur near Kanpur. Back then, UP never asked the question you are asking.

During 1857, the people of UP and Bihar rose to fight against British, and had no hesitation in joining forces under Maratha leaders Nana Saheb Peshwa, Tatya Tope, and Rani Lakshmi Bai - all of who were living in UP.

Kaviraj Bhushan who has immortalized Chhatrapati Maharaj's deeds in the people's hearts through his poetry, was also not a Marathi - neither his poems written in the court of Shivaji were in Marathi. Instead Shivaji's cort poet Bhushan wrote in Braja Bhasha - that of a part of UP.

Holkar and Sindhia etc set up their seats in Gwalior and Indore respectively. MP peopel welcomed it. Or did they say why these people are here to make MP a Marathi speaking state!

what more can I say to what you said: Why Rest Of India Carry "Load" of BIMARU state, that you don't even know the very basic history and culture.

Good lucj my fried. Please open your eyes and see that what values and culture Maharshtra cherishes, rest of India shares too. It is called Hindu or Indic culture.
