Whether someone here agrees or not but the fact is that what happened and now has started in Maharastra and marathi culture will always remain a blackspot on marathi culture and their national identity.
Whether people agree or not but the fact is that such mental level and thinkign si reflection of a self-cocooned culture and mentality of loosers and incompetent.
India has more than 100 languages and if someone is in transferabel job or in continous trip kind of job, then accordign to these marathi gentlemen, one needs to spend more time in learning those languages instead of doign the real business.
Its sheer shame for Marathis to acknowledge hindi as north Indian language instead of National language as given in constitution of India. In Bihar alone there are more than 8 languages being spoken and Hindi is neither regional language of Bihar! Then how come a marathi forcefully put his limited knowledge of language and say that its war of Hindi V/s non-Hindi.

marathis needs to be open, at least in the age of 21st century they should not behave like a tribe who will otherwise definately loose in the age of global and cosmo culture and competition.
Those who raised this issue are nothing but scared of competition and probably incompetent people, be it marathi on non-marathi. And this is the ultimate truth.

This is a result of lack of charismatic personality as political leaders who take up such sick and ill level of politics to get vote base as they lack their own persoanl c

And much before mharastra, Tamilnadu has been the most hateful state practicing all kind of regional and lingual divide and this is why no outsider wants to go there.
Do you think its good for TN? No!

This is a result of lack of charismatic personality as political leaders who take up such sick and ill level of politics to get vote base as they lack their own persoanl cpacity and capability, good work and personality to win the crowd.
Shivaji would have covered his face with shame after seeing these marathis calling people like Thakcrays as their leader. Shivaji himself had done a lot for social equivalance and today his own concept is being mocked up by his own lineage!
Its pity that as we are advancing sametime we are gettign backward mroe fastly and loosing the capability to open our eyes and lending ourself in danger. Get up and say no to politics of hate started by these new generation leaders who lack personal character and try politics based on hate to benefit themselvs only.
There is no limit of division. Get Up!

murli - excellently written but not related to subject. V.T. has taken you all on wrong tract. and people like you were carried away without understanding the main grievances of marathis. murali's remarks was also well written but it does not pertain to our grievances. regarding our backwardnes etc.etc. you dont know marathi history, culture, marathi people. whatevery your remarks about marathis smells jelousness towards marathi people and nothing else. we marathis break our patience only when something goes wrong in excess. whatever integrity, harmony etc.etc. you better teach to others and not to marathis.
jai hind, jai maharashtra - understand ?
the name itself will feel sense of rashtriyatva
and not language like bengal, telgu etc.
