dear rex, first please define whos a "mumbaikar" .. thats a valid question!..then you can worry about mumbai problems. again you ppl dont seem to have problems with land grabbing by large builders, goons, thugs.. thats where the real problem is if you WANT to understand.. rather than throw stones at random people (most often ur own people as seen).

I agree. People who have been staying since their generations in mumbai can be considered mumbaikar, they may be from different casts too. the problem is with the people who are coming a new and spoiling the culture of the city. Mumbai is and was always better than cities like Delhi. girls used to feel so safe as compared to other states in North. But not anymore with the rising incidences like 31st December. I am not saying its only people coming from out side , it could be locals also. But the point is the culture is getting spoilt. and the warmth for the culture can be only with people who have sticked onto it for a long and not for people who are new to it.

those ppl who suffer daily by travelling in local trains.... those who suffer 6 hrs of load sheddin in there suburb homes ... those who work hard for there living in mumbai are the one who will suffer... and u guys plzz refrain givin ur intelligent comments coz u know only half truth... ask mumbaikars there problems rather than this tarun vijay... lalu wil perform chath puja in mumbai.... who will suffer...ppl stayin in mumbai..... it looks so good to show ur intelligence in blogs but the real probs is faced only by those ppl who are responsible for building mumbai....

Come on boss.. i have travelled lenght and breadth of this country.. even i have travelled in your local trains.. stayed in the subrubs... and as well STATED BY YOU.. you have ENOUGH PROBLEMS to SOLVE.. other than migrants issue But well.. only problem that i really faced was the UNCLEANINESS that i foudn there which would be mainly due to over crowding and stuff.. but i guess your Administraton should take steps to ensure that everyone in mumbai is disciplined.. u should have laws for it and ensure peple should follow it.. STRENGHTEN THE INFRASTRUCTURE BOSS.. Make them more stronger to accept the entire world...!!!!

@anoop sukumar i dont have any issues with migrants nor with u... but my concern is my family... i think like a middle class person.... my problem is this issue which is just getting a lot of importance... and creating an insecure environment....which is going to effect ony my family my friends relatives etc... others please you wont have any probs

Rex You or Me Might not be able to Make any Change.. But WE can surely make some change.. make noise.. keep the issue alive.. so that Such miscreants would think twice before they do anything wrong.. dont wait for them to STAMP on you to react... and reaction dosnt mean going out there and fighting.. make noise so that the administration takes notice and takes action.. EVEN if symbolically the government took action against raj.. why BECAUSE.. PEOPLE STOOD UP.. or REACTED against the injusticce happend in mumbaii...we are all part of this social system.. if you run now.. you will always be on the run.. and you will be exploited for ever.... there wont be any power in our house.. there wont any water in our house... there wont be any proper infrasturcture any where.. but A WHOLE OF MARATHI PRIDE.. which would be good only for RAJ'S vote bank.. and not for our stomach... let them concenctrate more than that rather than these anti nationalist issues

this issue is not so easy to handle.... if shivsena also supports all this act then it can be a huge nuisance....the real problem is thackeray family... they broke the family only for power.... they are more interested in playing with marathi people emotions who like us come under middle class population... these people wont do anything with anyone as they have there own problems... but all jobless worthless people who are promised a bottle of whisky at night can create havoc in the whole city... and that too for a bottle of whisky...the core problem is thackeray family....
