Can you please confirm that India is a Secular Country? If so, right after Independence, people of all languages, regions, castes are all subject to the same Civil Code? Also all the States in India enjoy the same privileges? If it is not so, how can you say that genuine secularists (whom you call Hindutwavadi) are responsible for this situation?

Right Shyam. Your point is taken. Even the Kashmiri Hindus had to face the brunt of majority ire in Kashmir. Pseudo-secularists like me do conveniently forget such facts. All said and done, the ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri Hindus must also be highlighted. My apologies. The point here is irrespective of regional, religious, caste-based, ethnicity-based identities such incidents are a perfect recipe for India's Balkanisation -- even the ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri Hindus as you have mentioned.
