Our Cities like Hyderabad ,Bangalore,Pune or Mumbai have seen multiplication of Population as well as vehicles.likewise the salaries of IT Sector employees have seen a sharp rise not seen in any other sector. Plenty of money in hands makes our mind like unbriddled horse weak people fall prey to drinks and women, some unable to hold their huge salaries go in for lavish spending and luxuries.Money earned is not everything, unlimited daily work in Office and trying to reach office in hurry in the dense traffic and repeat same exercise while returning home makes one feel un prepared for this stressful life.,work-work -work and no time to play makes one feel sick., a day come when one feel money cannot give all the happiness which hapiness can be felt when one enjoys in the compasny of near and dear and in good company and family and friend circle. After all the day's hard and painful work- one feels"This is a mad mad mad world'

I agree with you. You need a balance life. Foreign investors want one thing and one thing only: Profit. Profit by any means. If that means making people work all day then let that be it. We all lose in the end. Its not just people that are suffering, so is nature. When profit crosses nature, nature will lose. Same goes with people's lives. India has a such a rich culture and its being destroyed. Greed is taking over. People now marry just because you work for Google (money!) rather than who you are. You only have to look to the west to see the destruction it brings to people's lives. Foreign ivestors are impatient lot. They want their investment doubled and trippled and they don't care who stands in the way. In a way we all want that but at what cost?

but at what cost? That is the question one has to find answers himself/herself. Yes, everybody wants profit. A person works for google and hence has to give a new product at whatever rate the market demands. Otherwise, that person is not required to work for google. Has anybody heard about wheels of chariot of Jagannadha..?? The way all companies work is on the same principle. If that is too fast for you, please take voluntary retirement in which case the persons wife divorces and the kids will be away from that person. Either way it is music from all the sides for IT professionals. Actually most of the products from google or microsoft come from kids in US and UK schools. What Indian IT is doing is testing them. For that so much of stress..!! Laughing stock !!! P.S: I am a microsoft hired product developer living in a remote village in north India.

That's because you are now dependent on these companies and hence they control your lives. Your life revolves around them. The balance is how these companies define it. Its sad. Don't get me wrong. Not all greed is bad. Greed is the reason why we have so many wonderful things these days. However, this also brings bad greed. Look at what is going on with this sub-prime mess in US. Lives are destroyed by these unscruplous people who took advantage of innocent people through predatory lending practices. Or CEO that tell outright lies and destroy the company and yet walk away with millions while company staff, through no fault of their own, are left laid-off. These same people that worked long hours, gave up much of their home lives to help this company are now jobless thanks to the practices of their top management, who have left to retire to their 20 bedroom mansions.
