If this regionalism continue, our state will become backward like up/bihar one day. we have taken best of everybody to develop maharastra, let us not ruin it to ash. there various ways to protect marathi interest instead of this hooliganism .

You will be blessed if your state becomes like Bihar. We aren't so immature to kick out Marathis from Bihar. Besides we are a state that is trying hard to move ahead. We DO NOT live in the PAST, though we have a great history. If Marathis are so worried about protecting their interest, there is obviously something seriously wrong with the community - atleast in terms of mindset. So hope you find out soon and stop being so insecure
All non-marathas living in maharashtra should try to contribute to marathi culture and economy, as that part of India, maharashtra, was a a mother to them, and gave them refuge and a livelihood.
I would appeal to all marathis to be proactive, and give vent to their sentiments in a proactive and non-violent manner.
The present problem should be solved in a harmonious manner, without causing any bitterness.
