Aftermath of violence
by ananth on Feb 14, 2008 10:17 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

The N indians staying in Maharashtra or elsewhere should adopt and adapt to the local culture. The trouble starts when they do not do this. This crates rift between the locals and non locals. This has been witnessed in Karnataka and elsewhere also. In anycase people should not take law into their hands.

Why they should adopt and adapt to the local culture when constitution gives every indian the right follow their culture. If they or anybody doing any crime law is there to take care of them. But if owner of Maharastra and and it people Bal and Raj(with local people support) want them to leave then they must leave so that Raj can make his political career.Bal and Raj are against north and south indian

People have forgotten their own culture how would they adapt to the culture of other states.
But yes I agree, for anyone who lives in a non-native state/region should respect the culture and language of that place.
I have lived in around 3-4 states of the country and can proudly say that I can speak 4 different languages and understand around 7 languages. It adds a different dimension to you if you can learn to speak or atleast understand the local language. But then its all dependent on the people. So violence is not the way to get to such a stage. People should be made aware and proper help should be tendered so that they get to mingle and learn the new language.

Jai Hind !!

What worng I have said ,If marathis do not want them they must leave and develop their own state. This is also lesson for shameless leaders who are doing nothing to develop their states. Why these poor people be kicked around. They must live in their state and if there is no job there they must suiside like people of Vidharba or elsewhere. Why migrate to hurt somebodies pride and sentiment
