I thought Bengalis are parochial, but now I feel they are 1000 times better than the Marathis......Bongs never bit up anybody. Being a Marathi myself I am ashamed to see even several Marathis support them, now people will call us anti-Indians and we have lost all means to defend ourselves.

You can be never a Marathi if you are ashamed of acts of other. I am also Marathi and I am proud of being Marathi. As much as any any other state person. Never be ashamed of your identity but use your very own identity to fight against unjust and unlawful.If you have guts oppose those few responsible for this but dont blame entire state or any commmunity.

All Marathis are not responsible.. But their silences says that they are haapy with the act what RAJ is doing.. eg. Most high esteemed Maratha Leader Mr Sharad Pawar never condemed the Raj incidents.. Shivsena is opposite paty in state aseembly, but they supported Pratibha Tai in Rashtapati election with Congress and NCP.. its shows they follow NEPOTISM.. this is bad..

During situations like this there are several anti social elements take advantage. You can not generalise and blame the entire community. There are anti social elements in every society.
The Govt. should deal with distructive forces with an Iron hand. But the cong. govt in Maharshtra is too weak. By keeping quiet fo so long they are actully abetting the crime.
On the othet hand the Govt. must look into the root cause. Are marathis getting their rightfull share of emplyment in Central Govt. institutions like Railways, PSUs etc.?(in Maharashtra?) Isn't it true that Lalu is filling up Railways with Biharis?
Similarly in all states, some % of jobs must be reserved for Local worksforce in Central Govt. institutes. So to do justice.
