WHy does Hindi take prescendence over other languages in India. MH politicians should take Hindi out of schools like in South India and we should promote Marathi. All signs in the city should only be in Marathi and in English. English only because we want to welcome those Indians who are law-abiding. By having English, we can welcome South Indians and other educated Indians who can't speak Hindi. Hindi should be banished from MH.
Furthermore, English is not indegenous to MH and India. The local languages of Denmark and Iceland survive despite everyone being able to speak English. Similarly, Marathi will survive. The problem is with people from UP and Bihar who think they don't want to integrate wherever they move because their language is "more" official than other languages of India. Why is Hindi our main language, when languages like Tamil and Sanskrit are more older than Hindi. I would rather learn Tamil anyday than Hindi.
I lived in Bangalore and know Kannadiga quite well. Why cant Hindi speakers do the same.

If you or your leaders have guts, then why don%u2019t you change the constitution and make Tamil the national language, we all will surely learn it being the national language. But, surely Marathi can not be made the national language (otherwise Indians will be taunted for igade-tigde). Generally also, general IQ level of Maharashtrians is very low compared to other parts of India. If Mumbai is the business capital of India, the credit only goes to Gujaratis. Maharashtrians (Igade-tigde) are only good for sanitary works and local goondas. Shiv Sena is a party of parasites. We had so far worshipped Shivaji Maharaj, but looking at the attitude of Thakreys and Ghatees, it appears that Shivaji was also a parasite.
Now what Central Govt should do??? They should deprive Mumbai all the benefits it had got including shifting of major central government corporations and stock exchange etc. to Gujarat. Maharashtrian farmers are already killing themselves and then local ghatees will also start committing suicides.

After a long time I have a such a stupid mail. What to do with hindi in these matters? You dont want to learn dont learn but refrain from making non sense comments to justify your stand. First stop you kids and anyone in your family and relation to stop speaking hindi, watching hindi channels movies. Thats the maximum you should do. Your mail is full of hatred and without any logic. Your Marathi guy's (mayor of some north district in karnataka) face was blacked in broadday light in Karnataka when he supported merging few districts in Maharastra from Karnataka. You have not seen how Kanadigas and Tamilians fight like dogs during Cavery water issue. So much for your developed states.No doubt that north Indian states are going through bad phase but this should not allow any tom dick and harry to spit venom against their fellow countrymen.
