Marathi Manoos Views

should think this practically.
Marathi (Middle Class & Lower Middle Class ) are really distressed by ongoing & increasing other states sending floods of people to our states specially Mumbai to get jobs at the cost of son of the soils by ruining them & frustrating them in the max way. Let us leave politics aside since in the early 80%u2019s it was the Congress who allowed such movements of loads of people for vote banks but ?? Why Should the Local people of Maharashtra suffer cause of inefficiency of other States. What I want to suggest is by an example : In A Company there are 2 High Level Managers : There are total 200 people under them. Now if One is able to manage properly & the other is not & the other manager tries to manage only 20 of his people & shed responsibility for the rest 80 & sends them to the other. The performing manager would also suffer, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY THE COMPANY WOULD SUFFER.i.eIndia is suffering cause of horrible management of North Indian Goverments specially UP,Bihar & they are trying to shed their responsibilities on other states.
Obviously this would lead to communal disharmony in the local people since their jobs are hit the most. We Marathis are proud to stay in India & our Local Maharashtra. We would not like to leave this place which we call MAIBHOOMI.
A Practical solution to the same is that North Indian States like UP & Bihar should be given stern warnings&create more job opportunities &manage their states.Every Corner should perfo

If politicians in Maharashtra doesn't listein to this advice then beat all the innocent intelectuals who have gone to US in search of good future.

U r correct, that UP and bihar government should create job opportunities in their state. But u can not gurantee that ur marathi people are qualified enough to handle all the jobs. If this would have been the situation, then in any case other state person wouldnt have enterd in maharashtra. This is a fact, north indians created job opportunities for themselves and are surviing here, y didnt marathis do all labourer jobs? y arent marathis are the owners of the coportates in mumbai n other parts of the maharshtra? y arent marathis working late in the nite, like up, biharis do? If rikshaw driver from UP n bihar work late nite n earn, then y cant marathis??? marathis should have themselves be so capable that they could have snatched job from other state people. u dont want to leave maharashtra then dont leave, but u can not guide other state people to enter into maharsthra.......and one more thing, wat about marathis residing in MP n south indian states??? should other state people throw them out the way raj thakrey is doing?? or does marathi people have become to weak n incompetitive that they need support such type of politician???

Its not that Mumbai has been managed well by the Maharastrian government. Mumbai being the financial capital of India attracts lots of business investments and hence people from throughout India come here to seek jobs. If the maharastrians are so particular about their state they should not have allowed the business families from Gujarat (Ambani's), Tata's and likes to settle in Maharastra. they should not have asked the centre to invest in establishments like the Mumbai Port, Bombay stock exchange and so on.
Bombay is not just the property of maharastrians but it is a place for every Indian to settle.
All these cracks (RAJ and Uddav) who have come up with the Marathi Manus ideology suddenly from dreams, have they ever tried to improve the welfare of people in places like Vidharb, Satara, and other remote underdeveloped places of Maharastra. Its pure vote politics and utleast educated people should not fall prey to their evil designs.

What you told is perfect. The main reason lies in the administrative inefficiency and lack of opportunities in the North Indian states. If huge population flows form one state to another sometime is bound to be a burden. Only solution is proper administration and job opportunities in every state so that majority population do not required to leave his land to other place to seek a living. Unfortunately and this not oing to happen to the state like UP and Bihar in near future.

Hi Hemant,

I am a North Indian but born and brought up in Pune. I agree to your view point. There is a pressing need to develop North Indian states radically. More job opportunities need to be created there..Not only that, first and foremost law and order must be brought under control.

However, I would like to say that what Raj is doing is really unfair. This is not at all constructive but only shows his desperation to hog limelight. I remember listening to his first speech after leaving Shiv Sena. I must say I was REALLY impressed because he spoke of radical reforms. But I am sad he resorted to such petty ways to gain mass support. I hope he understands for betterment of 1 and all (not just Maharastrians) that division only reduces strength.

Cheers mate.

Vikram.
