Pkl. Afternoon, 5.45pm Sunday, 10th Feb. 2008
My respectful tributes to a titan amongst pygmies of contemporary India...His was the life of saintly dedication to the most marginalized Lepers, that are despised by even great soial revolutionaries...Babasaheb Amte's dedication to such humiliated was so great that giving up his legal profession went out of the way to gain the curative procedures forleprosy and there after dedicated himself and his entire life and family to the service of such most marginalized persons of our society..He was at Anand Van like St Francis of Assisi , how ,to dealienate these degraded victims of a malaise to be reintegrated to this cruel uncaring society. When people were looking for relief from terrorism in Punjab despite his own disabilities he moved up the land to give rescue , like wise he sat on dharna to take JalSamadhi for the rights of rejected tribals of Hoshangabad MP at Narmda Dam sight .One feels happy that in these fallen times we were blessed by this high Paradigm of Manly Compassion...D. Goel
